Diplomová práca pozostáva z teoretickej a praktickej časti. Teoretická časť obsahuje roz-delenie a popis najznámejších a najpoužívanejších skúšok tvrdosti a mikrotvrdosti, ich princíp a postup merania, popis štruktúry kovov a jej zmeny s teplotou, rozdelenie laserov a popis ich funkcie.
