Diplomová práce se zabývá počátkem feministického hnutí v Británii ve 2. polovině 18. století a feministickými rysy v literatuře. Důraz je kladen na kontext sociálního postavení žen v patriarchální společnosti. Hlavním cílem práce je rovněž charakteristika v feministických aspektů v díle A Vindication of the Rights of Woman Mary Wollstonecraftové a Northanger Abbey Jane Austenové
Abstract:
The diploma paper analyzes origins of feminist movement in Britain and feminist features in literary works in the period of second half of the 18th century. Stress is layed on the context of the social position of women in the patriarchal system of society.
