German Comparisons, Proverbs, Verbal and Nominal Idioms with Colours and their English and Czech Equivalents
Abstract:
The theoretical part of my thesis deals with phraseology as a linguistic discipline and its development in history. The practical part focuses on German comparisons, proverbs and verbal and nominal idioms which contain color expressions. This part is divided into nine sections according to the appropriate colors. The German idioms are compared with their English and Czech equivalents.
Abstract:
Teoretická část diplomové práce si klade za cíl popsat frazeologii jako jazykovědnou disciplínu a její vývoj. V praktické části jsou německá přísloví, přirovnání, verbální a nominální frazémy obsahující barvy. Tato část je rozdělena do devíti skupin dle barev, které v nich vystupují. Německé idiomy jsou srovnávány s jejich anglickými a českými ekvivalenty.
