Equation solving in algebraic structures

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá řešením rovnic v algebraických strukturách, popisuje teorii grup, okruhů a těles a ilustruje ji na příkladech. Teorie je představena od základních operací po složitější aplikace, kapitoly na sebe navazují a každý následující poznatek postupně rozšiřuje předchozí. Cílem je vytvořit převážně teoretickou práci, která ilustruje grupy, okruhy, tělesa a homomorfismy a pomocí nich ukázat důkazy o řešitelnosti vybraných problémů z některých dalších oborů matematiky.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with solving equations in algebraic structures, describes theory of groups, rings, and fields, and the theory is properly exemplified. The theory is introduced from basic operations to more complex applications. Chapters follow each other, and every new fact is an extension of previous ones. The goal is to create theoretical work that illustrates groups, rings, fields, and homomorphisms and use that work to prove the solvability of selected problems from other fields of mathematics.
