Analysis of educational procedures with children under three years of age in pre-school education establishments

Abstract:

Diplomová práce má teoreticko - empirický charakter. Cílem je zjistit, jaké edukační postupy preferují učitelé při práci s dětmi mladšími tří let v předškolních zařízeních. V teoretické části jsou sumarizovány poznatky o teoretickém vymezení pojmu edukační postupy a o přístupech učitele v edukaci dětí mladší tří let. V diplomové práci se autorka věnuje také specifikaci jednotlivých typů předškolních zařízení a požadavkům na učitelky mateřských škol, pečovatelky v dětských skupinách a ošetřovatelky v jeslích. V empirické části jsou prezentovány výsledky kvalitativně orientovaného výzkumu. Získaná data byla sbírána postupně pomocí interview s učitelkami, pečovatelky a ošetřovatelkami z jednotlivých typů zařízení. Z analýzy dat vyplynulo, že pro práci s dětmi mladšími tří let jsou nejčastěji využívány tři skupiny organizačních forem a to frontální, individualizované a skupinové. Mezi často využívané metody patří dramatizace, vyprávění, názorné metody, situační a převažuje hra. K samotné vzdělávací práci s dětmi dochází až po zvládnutí období adaptace a po vytvoření si základních hygienických a sebeobslužných návyků.

Abstract:

This thesis consists of two parts the theoretical and empirical. The aim is to find out which educational process teachers of preschool children prefer. The theoretical part consists of a summary of theoretical knowledge and definitions of the concept of educational procedures with regard to the teacher's attitude towards education of children aged three years and below. In the diploma theses the author pays attention to the specificities for individual types of preschool facilities and the requirements for kindergarten teachers, social attendant in child's centers and in Infant-nursery. In the empirical part of thesis there are presented results of qualitative research. Data was collecting gradually by interviewing teachers, social attendants and nurses from individual type of institutions. Data analysis later showed that for working with children under 3 years age the most common ways are three groups of organizational form: frontal, individual and grouped. Often used methods included performance, narration, illustrative methods, situation methods and mostly play. The educational work with children itself occurs after mastering a period of adaptation and after creating basic hygiene and self-service habits.
