The examination of proving the signs of syphilis infection in blood donors FN Brno, using the method ARCHITECT Syphilis TP-verification of the specificity declared by the manufacturer at a reformulated method in the conditions of the TTO FN Brno

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na ověření specificity reformulované metody ARCHITECT Syphilis TP využívané k vyšetření průkazu známek infekce syfilis u dárců krve FN Brno. Cílem je ověřit specificitu in vitro diagnostik ARCHITECT Syphilis TP pro původní a reformulovanou metodu ARCHITECT Syphlis TP, kterou deklaruje výrobce. Práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. První část se zabývá podmínkami pro dárcovství krve, vyšetřováním infekčních markerů u dárců krve, onemocněním syfilis a jeho výskytem v populaci ČR a u dárců krve. Druhá část se soustředí na vypočtení specificity u původní a reformulované metody ARCHITECT Syphilis TP ze sledovaného souboru dárců krve TTO FN Brno za rok 2015 a 2017.

Abstract:

The focal point of this bachelor thesis is to validate the specificity of the reformulated method ARCHITECT Syphilis TP which is used to verify the evidence of the syphilis infection in blood donors of the FN Brno. The objective of this bachelor thesis is to verify in vitro diagnostics ARCHITECT Syphilis TP for the original method and the reformulated method ARCHITECT Syphilis TP, which is declared by the manufacturer. It consists of theoretical and practical parts. The first part deals with the conditions for blood donation; the examination of infectious markers in blood donors; the syphilis disease and its incidence in the Czech population and blood donors. The second part focuses on calculating the specificity of the original and the reformulated method ARCHITECT Syphilis TP based on the processed data from the analyzed cohort of blood donors of the TTO FN Brno in the years of 2015 and 2017.
