Abstract:

Tato práce se věnuje podobě a roli soudobé sakrální architektury ve třech fázích: začíná u základního zmapování architektonického vývoje a náplně sakrálních staveb nejrozšířenějších náboženství v období od 2. pol. 20. století do současnosti (křesťanská, muslimská, židovská), pokračuje studií sdílených náboženských prostor jako nové nutnosti v době multikulturní společnosti (náboženské prostory v budovách s jinou primární náplní, ekumenické kaple, domy náboženství a Bahá'í chrámy), a jako poslední se věnuje aplikaci získaných poznatků při návrhu sdíleného náboženského komunitního centra s modlitebnou - Domu modlitby a dialogu.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the form and role of contemporary sacred architecture in three phases: it starts with a general overview of the architectural development and use of sacred buildings belonging to the most common religions in the period from second half of the 20th century to the present (Christian, Muslim, Jewish), continues with a study of shared religious spaces as a new necessity in the age of multicultural society (religious spaces in buildings with different primary purpose, ecumenical chapels, houses of religions and Bahá'í temples), and lastly deals with the application of the findings in the design of a shared religious community centre with a prayer room ?- the House of Prayer and Dialogue.
