Rehabilitation following total knee arthroplasty in a case of primary arthrosis: case report.

Abstract:

My elaborate deal of the knee prosthesis resulting from arthrosis. Arthrosis of the knee is a degenerative disease of the articular surfaces. The main methods to combat the disease are of type conservative (food and sports) and drugs, when these treatments are ineffective the only method that allows the patient to live better is the knee prosthesis intervention. In the representation of the clinical case the case of a patient will be treated that after having carried out various conservative treatments, he had to undergo knee replacement surgery due to his worsening condition causing him problems in everyday life. Through a 2-month rehabilitation program, of which 1 month in hospital after the operation and 1 month after discharge, the patient was able to achieve the goals set after the operation.

Abstract:

Il mio elaborato tratta delle protesi del ginocchio conseguenti ad artrosi. L'artrosi del ginocchio rappresenta una patologia degenerativa delle superfici articolari. I principali metodi per contrastare la patologia sono conservati (alimentazione, sport) e farmaceutici, quando questi trattamenti sono inefficaci l'unico metodo che permette al paziente di vivere al meglio ? l'intervento per la protesi di ginocchio. Nella rappresentazione del caso clinico verr? trattato il caso di un paziente che dopo aver effettuato diversi trattamenti conservativi, ha dovuto effettuare un intervento di protesi di ginocchio a causa delle sue condizioni che peggioravano causandogli problemi nella vita di tutti i giorni. Attraverso un percorso riabilitativo di 2 mesi, di cui 1 mese in ospedale dopo l'operazione e 1 mese dopo le dimissioni il paziente ? riuscito a ottenere gli obiettivi prefissati dopo l'intervento.
