The transformation of the recipient into an author under the influence of new media art

Anotace:

Charakteristickým rysem novomediálního umění je interaktivita s divákem. Bližší kontakt díla a příjemce tak může potencionálně změnit charakter autorství. Vlivem novomediálního umění se proto jeví, že se hranice mezi divákem a autorem stírají. Cílem bakalářské práce „Proměna recipienta v autora pod vlivem novomediálního umění“ bude prozkoumat roli recipienta v oblasti novomediálního umění a na základě myšlenek vlivných teoretiků vyvodit závěry, zda a jak se mění role recipienta, který se podílí na finální podobě díla.

Abstract:

A characteristic feature of new media art is interactivity with the viewer. Closer contact between the work and the recipient can potentially change the nature of authorship. It is therefore an influence of new media art that the boundaries between the viewer and the author are blurred. The aim of the bachelor's thesis "Transformation of the recipient into an author under the influence of new media art" will examine the role of the recipient in new media art and draw conclusions based on the ideas of influential theorists whether and how the role of the recipient changes in participation with the work.
