Diplomová práca sa zaoberá kompresiou vysokodimenzionálnych vektorov popisujúcich vstupné dáta pre podobnostné vyhľadávanie do nižších dimenzií, čím dochádza k zrýchleniu podobnostného vyhľadávania pri snahe o čo najmenšiu stratu presnosti vyhľadávania.
