Using Nanomaterials in Pharmaceutical Systems, Cancer Therapy and Tissue Engineering

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá využitím nanotechnologií a nanočástic v medicinálních aplikacích. V úvodní části je jsou uvedeny vlastnosti a konkrétní modely nanočástic, které by mohly být využity jako nosiče léků. V práci je uvedeno, jak by tyto modely konkrétně mohly fungovat ať už při léčbě rakoviny nebo jiných závažných či méně závažných onemocnění. Stěžejní kapitoly jsou věnovány právě léčbě rakoviny pomocí nanočástic a jejich využití v radioterapii. Závěr práce předkládá informace o metodách syntézy nanovláken a jejich následné využití v tkáňovém inženýrství.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the use of nanotechnologies and nanoparticles in medical applications. In the introductory part are presented properties and specific models of nanoparticles that could be used as pharmaceutic carriers. The thesis describes how these models could work specifically for cancer therapy or other severe or less severe diseases. The main chapters are devoted exactly to the cancer therapy using of nanoparticles and use naporticles in radiotherapy. In conclusion of this thesis presents information on methods of nanofiber synthesis and their subsequent use in tissue engineering.
