Use of non-pharmacological methods for anxiety and pain reduction during perioperative care about breast illness patient

Abstract:

Cílem přehledové bakalářské práce bylo vyhledat a analyzovat výsledky výzkumů, vědecké studie a dostupné informace týkající se problematiky využití nefarmakologických metod v možností tišení perioperační úzkosti a bolesti u pacientů s onemocněním prsu. Studie byly vyhledány systematickou rešeršní strategií pomocí předdefinovaných klíčových slov, zahrnovacích a vylučovacích kritérií za užití elektronických databází Science Direct, CINAHL Plus with Full, Text Academic Search Ultimate, Open AIRE, MEDLINE, BiblioMedica/Medvik. Extrakce, analýza a syntéza dat proběhla na základě stanovených dílčích cílů bakalářské práce. Bakalářská práce identifikovala několik možností využití nefarmakologických intervencí cílících na mírnění perioperační úzkosti a bolesti. Bylo zjištěno, jaký vliv má aromaterapie, muzikoterapie a další vybrané nefarmakologické metody na úzkost a bolest. Z nejvíce účinných ošetřovatelských intervencí na tišení perioperační úzkosti bylo použití muzikoterapie a aromaterapie. Mezi nejúčinnější nefarmakologické metody tišení pooperační bolesti u pacientů s onemocněním prsu byly identifikovány různé relaxační techniky či jóga. Výsledky přehledové práce lze využít při rozhodování o případném zařazení nefarmakologických metod do léčebného procesu.

Abstract:

The aim of the barchelor thesis was to find and analyse the results of research, scientific studies , and available information about the use of non-pharmacological interventions to reduce perioperative anxiety and pain in patients undergoing breast surgery. Studies were searched using a systematic search strategy using predefined keywords, inclusion and exclusion criteria, using electronic databases such as Science Direct, CINAHL Plus with Full Text, Academic Search Ultimate, Open AIRE, MEDLINE, BiblioMedica/Medvik. The data were extracted, analysed, and synthetised in accordance with sub-aims of the thesis. Several possibilities were identified for the use as a non-pharmacological interventions targeting the reduction of perioperative anxiety and pain. The impact of aromatherapy, music therapy, and other selected non-pharmacological methods on anxiety and pain were determined. The most effective nursing interventions for perioperative anxiety, the use of music therapy and aromatherapy. Various relaxation techniques or yoga were identified as the most effective non-pharmacological methods for postoperative pain in patients with breast illness. The results of this bachelor thesis can be utilized in decision-making regarding the potential inclusion of non-pharmacological methods in the treatment process.
