The novel blog Srdce domova as a hybrid literary genre of collaborative authorship

Abstract:

Blogoromán Srdce domova, který vznikl v roce 2009 na popud spisovatele Michaela Viewegha je příkladem specifického hybridního a kolaborativního literárního žánru prezentovaného v online prostředí. Protože teorie týkající se blogorománu je v současnosti dosti neukotvená, pokusíme se v prvé řadě o definici blogorománu s pomocí studia teorie elektronického, hypertextuálního, kolaborativního publikování. Srdce domova je také příkladem výsledku kolaborativního autorství (Landow, 2007). Proto se tato práce zabývá procesem vzniku blogorománu a jednotlivými rolemi, které autoři při tomto procesu zaujímají. Jak zde dochází k prolínání čtenáře a autora? V čem je dané dílo hypertextuální? Jedná se o kolaborativní dílo, ve kterém jednotliví autoři zaujímají rovnoprávné postavení? S jakým záměrem vstoupil do projektu Michael Viewegh? Jakou roli v tomto procesu hraje a jak dále s tímto vzniknuvším útvarem nakládá? Cílem naší práce bylo nalézt odpovědi na tyto otázky.

Abstract:

The novel blog Srdce domova which was created in 2009 at the instigation of czech writer Michael Viewegh is an example of specific hybrid and collaborative literary genre presented in an online ambience. Nowadays, when the theory regarding the novel blog is quite unstable we principally attempt to define the concept of the novel blog with the help of an exploration of theory of electronic, hypertextual and collaborative publishing. The novel blog Srdce domova is also an example of an authorship synergy (Landow, 2007). Therefore this bachelor’s thesis deals with a process of creation of the novel blog and its individual roles which are taken by authors during this process.What is the process of intersection between the reader and the author? What is the hypertextual part of this work? Do the authors take the same equal positions in this collaborative piece of work? What purpose does Michael Viewegh has joined the project with? What role does he take in this process and how does he handle this nascent genre? The aim of our bachelor’s thesis was to find out the answers to these questions.
