Cybercrime and the use of digital footprints in criminology

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci se zabývám kybernetickou kriminalitou, kybernetickými útoky a projevy kyberkriminality. Dále jsem se zaměřila na digitální stopy. V teoretické části práce popisuji kybernetické útoky a dle kterého paragrafu tyto útoky české trestní právo trestá. Dále analyzuji jednotlivé projevy kybernetických útoků a věnuji se též dělení kybernetických útoků na sociálních sítích. Na závěr teoretické části se zaměřuji na digitální stopy, jejich vlastnosti a využití. Jako praktickou část jsem zvolila dotazníkovou metodu s cílem zjistit informovanost a znalost dospělých o kybernetické kriminalitě.

Abstract:

In this bachelor thesis, I deal with cybercrime, cyberattacks and manifestations of cybercrime. On top of that, I focus on digital evidence. In the theoretical part of the thesis, cyberattacks are described and I state under which paragraph of the Czech criminal law these attacks are punished. Furthermore, I analyze individual manifestations of cyberattacks and the division of cybercrime at social networks. At the end of the theoretical part of the thesis, I focus on digital evidence, its characteristics and overall use in criminology. In the practical part, I chose the questionnaire method in order to find out the awareness and knowledge of adults about cybercrime.
