THE USE OF ART THERAPY IN SOCIOTHERAPEUTIC WORKSHOP

Abstract:

This thesis presents one of the experimental forms of therapeutical work with mentally ill people the use of art therapy in sociotherapy. The thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. First, the theoretical part defines sociotherapy. This part then describes mental disorders of the clients of Jiná Káva especially schizophrenia, depression and social phobia. The third part of the theoretical section defines art therapy and looks into the use of art therapy within specific mental illnesses. This section concludes with the definition of "Rožnov art therapy" approach which the author used within the therapeutical work in Jiná káva. The practical part describes the direct work between the author and klients of Jiná káva which is ilustrated with two case interpretations. The visual productions is interpreted according to the "Rožnov approach". The author also presents her experience from the socialtherapy workshops and her thoughts which accompanied her search for a new therapeutical aproach with the clients of Jiná káva. According to her work the author considers art therapy as a very convenient method of therapy and social rehabilitation.

Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce se věnuje jedné z experimentálních forem terapeutické práce s duševně nemocnými lidmi - využití arteterapie v socioterapii. Práce je členěna na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část nejdříve vymezuje pojem socioterapie. Vzhledem k tomu, že v praktické části autorka pracuje s klienty Jiné kávy, kteří trpí duševním onemocněním, teoretická část dále přibližuje jejich psychické nemoci - konkrétně schizofrenii, depresi a sociální fobii. Třetí oddíl teoretické části vymezuje arteterapii a blíže se zabývá arteterapií u jednotlivých duševních poruch. Teoretická část končí přiblížením teoretických východisek tzv. "rožnovské arteterapie", z níž autorka práce vycházela při svém arteterapeutickém působení v Jiné kávě. V praktické části autorka přibližuje svou přímou práci s klienty Jiné kávy, kterou ilustruje na dvou kazuistikách. Jejich obrazovou produkci zpracovává dle "rožnovské" arteterapie. Zároveň se snaží prezentovat své zkušenosti ze socioterapeutické dílny a úvahy, které doprovázely její hledání nového terapeutického přístupu při práci s klienty Jiné kávy. S ohledem na svou práci autorka spatřuje arteterapii jako velmi vhodný terapeutický a resocializační postup u klientů Jiné kávy.
