Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o drátovaném portrétu hlavní postavy z románu Oscara Wilda. Konkrétně odkazuji na knihu "Obraz Doriana Graye". Práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část se zabývá drátem v historii, vznikem drátenického řemesla, jež se do světa dostalo ze Slovenska a drátem v prostoru. Pozornost je zaměřena i na umělce, kteří z drátu vytvořili portréty působící jako skici kreslené v prostoru. Text praktické část obsahuje definici portrétu a také ukazuje výsledek mého díla, jímž je pětice drátěných portrétů Doriana Graye, které zobrazují jeho proměnu v čase.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis discusses the wire portrait of the main character from Oscar Wilde's novel, "The Picture of Dorian Gray". The work comprises both theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part deals with the history of wire, the beginning of wire craft that came to the world from Slovakia, and wire art in space. Attention is also paid to artists who have created wire portraits that resemble sketches drawn in space. The practical part defines a portrait and showcases the result of my work, which are five wire portraits of Dorian Gray that depict his transformation over time.
