Preparedness of family business for trend digitalization Industry 4.0

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá trendem digitalizace Průmysl 4.0 a zda je vybraný rodinný podnik na tyto změny připraven. Teoretická východiska popisují Průmysl 4.0 a předpoklady, na které je potřeba se soustředit při implementaci tohoto trendu. Zároveň poskytují přehled o rodinném podnikání a jejich přístupu k inovacím. Následná koncepce řešeného problému popisuje vybraný rodinný podnik a pomocí analýzy a rozhovorů poskytuje zhodnocení stavu podniku ve spojitosti s připraveností na Průmysl 4.0. V závěru práce jsou uvedena doporučení, jak by mohl podnik digitalizaci Průmysl 4.0 realizovat.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the trend of digitalization Industry 4.0 and whether the selected family business is prepared for these changes. The theoretical basis describes Industry 4.0 and the assumptions that need to be focused on for implementation of this trend. It also provides insight into family business and their approach to innovation. The solution of the problem describes the selected family business and through analysis and interviews provides an assessment of the state of the business in conjunction with Industry 4.0 readiness. At the end of the thesis there are recommendations on how the family business could implement the digitization Industry 4.0.
