Růženin lom is an important locality in the area of Moravian Karst. A system of ponds was created after the closing of limestone quarries at the end of the twentieth century. Surrounding area provides suitable conditions for the creation of tufa. Růženin lom je významnou lokalitou v oblasti Moravského krasu, kde sa od zastavenia ťažby vápencov v poslednom desaťročí dvadsiateho storočia vytvorila sústava jazierok, ktoré spolu s okolím poskytujú vhodné podmienky pre tvorbu penovca.
