Libertine Literature as a term and subject of study

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce se jmenuje ?Libertinská literatura? jako pojem a vzdělávací obsah. Zaměřuje se na následující autory a díla: Denis Diderot- Jeptiška, Pierre Ambroise Choderlos de Laclos- Nebezpečné známosti, Markýz de Sade- Justina čili prokletí ctnosti, Julietta čili slasti neřesti, 120 dnů Sodomy a Vivant Denon- Není zítřku. Práce obsahuje stručný životopis autorů, který se bezprostředně pojí s jejich díly, dále se věnuje samotným dílům. Nejprve shrnuje synopse dějů, poté se věnuje interpretaci jednotlivých děl. Metodologicky se opíráme o charakterizaci zásadních postav a rozebíráme vztahy mezi nimi. Hledáme zásadní motivy. V dalších částech se zamýšlíme nad tím, které znaky mají díla společná, snažíme se abstrahovat definici libertinské literatury oproti literatuře osvícenské. Úvahová část se zabývá využitím libertinské literatury ve vzdělávacím systému.

Abstract:

The bachelor´s thesis presented deals with the topic of ?Libertine literature? as a concept and as contents of curricula. It is concentrated on the works of such authors as Denis Diderot ? The Nun, Pierre Ambroise Choderlos de Laclos ? Dangerous Liaisons, Marquis of Sade - Justine, or the Misfortunes of Virtue; Juliette; The 120 Days of Sodom and Vivat Denon ? No Tomorrow. The work includes brief and fiction-related biography of the writers given and offers further analysis of the works. The synopsis of plots is collected and we later interpret individual pieces of writing. The methodology used is supported by characteristics outline of the main characters and we pay closer attention to individual relationships in between these. Elementary topics have been searched as well as we consider the signs in common in all the works presented. We have attempted to abstract the definition of literature of the libertines and position it against literature of the Enlightenment. The essayistic part of the text covers the usage of libertine literature in the schooling system.
