Literature in Rovnost between 1945-1948

Abstract:

Diplomová práce sleduje literaturu otiskovanou na stránkách deníku Rovnost v letech 1945 – 1948. Zaměřuje se na to, jak byly zastoupeny poezie, próza či odborné a kritické články věnující se literatuře. Všímá si jaký charakter měly všechny tyto otiskované příspěvky a zda byl jejich výběr poplatný době, ve které vycházely a naopak jak tuto dobu odrážely. Práce je rozdělena na dvě základní části – teoretickou a analytickou. V teoretické části je vymezena metoda, dějinný kontext zvoleného období, kulturně-politický kontext, charakter literatury v daném období a rovněž vývoj Rovnosti od počátku k sledovanému období. Analytická část se pak věnuje rozboru literatury v Rovnosti, přičemž vychází z autentických výtisků Rovnosti z let 1945 – 1948.

Abstract:

The study concentrates on literature published between years 1945 – 1948 in daily newspaper Rovnost. The main focus of the work is how poetry and prose or scientific and critical articles on literature were represented. Character of those published works is reflected, especially in terms of political and social climate of the era (and thus conditions of such works selection). The thesis consists of two basic parts – theoretical and analytical. In theoretical part the method is described, as well as historical context of the selected period, cultural and political context and character of literature published that time. It also maps development of Rovnost from its beginnings til the selected period. In analytical part literature published in Rovnost between years 1945 – 1948 is being analyzed, using authentic printed copies as a resource.
