Places of memory of the Jewish settlement in the region of Sedlčany and their perception of the current local populations

Abstract:

In the first part of the thesis there is briefly described the development of Jewish settlements in Sedlčansko including the Holocaust during the Nazi occupation. There are also illustrated the limited area of monuments and places of memory. The third part is devoted to the application and research of this topic. I have described here projects and exhibitions organized by the primary school and I tried on the basis of survey to analyze the current relationship of the population to the places listed above.

Abstract:

V prvé části diplomové práce je stručně popsán vývoj židovského osídlení na Sedlčansku včetně holokaustu v době nacistické okupace. Dále jsou zde ve vymezeném území znázorněny jednotlivé památky a místa paměti. Třetí část je věnována aplikaci a výzkumu tohoto tématu. Popsala jsem zde projekty a výstavy organizované základní školou a dále jsem se pokusila na základě dotazníkového šetření analyzovat současný vztah obyvatel k výše uvedeným místům.
