Extent and way of accepting active role in life - analysis of testimonies of male ex-convicts
Abstract:
Autorka v práci zkoumá, do jaké míry se muži se zkušeností uvěznění cítí být aktivními/pasivními aktéry ve svém životě. Teoretická část se zabývá vymezením pojmu aktérství a trestu obecně, blíže se zaměřuje na trest odnětí svobody a problematiku propuštění z vězení. Výzkumná část sestává z narativní analýzy pěti rozhovorů s muži, kteří byli v minulosti uvěznění.
Abstract:
The study examines the extent to which men with an incarceration experience feel as active/passive participants in their lives. The theoretic part deals with defining the concept of "active/passive participation" and punishment in general, with a particular focus on issues regarding imprisonment and release from prison.
