Scent communication and marking in captive guanacos- behavioral study

Abstract:
The bachelor thesis deals with communication and behaviour of guanacos llamas that are in captivity. Guanacos create so-called latrines that play an important role in territorial and marking behaviour. These latrines are mainly made of dung, all llamas are creating these piles on the basis of the hierarchy or proximity of other animals.
