Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce představuje formou mikrohistorické sondy události rebelie tajných evangelíků v letech 1777-1781, které předcházely tolerančnímu patentu Josefa II., a to v kraji kolem dominantní hory a poutního místa Hostýn na pomezí Valašska a Hané. Sleduje nejen proměňující se dynamiku nepokojů v jednotlivých navzájem se odlišujících lokalitách, ale také formy odporu nekatolíků a celkově napjatou atmosféru, která panovala mezi katolickým a evangelickým obyvatelstvem. V neposlední řadě se zabývá specifickými prvky kultury tajných nekatolíků, jakými byly laické pobožnosti, "kacířské" knihy nebo proroctví.

Abstract:

This thesis presents in the form of a microhistorical study the events of the rebellion of East Moravian Crypto-Protestants in the years 1777-1781, which preceded the Patent of Toleration of the emperor Joseph II., in the area around the dominant mountain and catholic pilgrimage site Hostýn, which is stretched partly in ethnographic regions of Moravian Wallachia and Haná. The study traces not only the changing dynamics of unrest in the different localities but also the forms of passive resistance by non-Catholics and the generally tense atmosphere that prevailed between the Catholic and Protestant populations. Last, but not least, it deals with specific aspects of Crypto-Protestant culture, such as lay worship, heretic books, and prophecies.
