German outside of the today's German-speaking countries

Abstract:

Topic of this work is called "German outside of today´s German-speaking countries". There were many of emigrations of German speaking people into the different countries on the whole Earth. This work is including reasons of emigration of these people and is trying to map the countries were German language is still in use thanks to these emigrants. Some of the inhabitant/dialects has been chosen to focus on. Except the Czech republic, Slovakia and former Soviet Union are processed also countries that are so extensive that they deserve a special attention.

Abstract:

Téma této práce je „Němčina mimo dnešní německy mluvící území“. V průběhu staletí docházelo k mnoha emigracím německy mluvících lidí do různých zemí světa. Práce se zabývá důvody emigrace těchto lidí a snaží se zmapovat území, ve kterých se díky nim i dnes němčina vyskytuje. Vybraným skupinám obyvatel/dialektům je věnována bližší pozornost. Zpracovány jsou země kromě České republiky, Slovenska a bývalého Sovětského svazu, které jsou natolik obsáhlé, že si zaslouží speciální pozornost.
