12 Monkeys: Time, Insanity and the Virus Outbreak
Abstract:
Cílem této práce je analýza a srovnání tří hlavních témat filmu 12 Opic a jeho seriálové adaptace. Hlavní zaměření tohoto srovnání jsou odlišné formáty a různá délka jejich verzí. Práce se zaměřuje na čas a časové paradoxy, problémy spojené s duševním zdraví a cestováním v čase, a jako poslední na virovou epidemii a na hlavní postavy a zkoumání motivů každé z nich ve spojení s vypuštěním viru.
Abstract:
The purpose of this thesis is to analyse and compare the three major themes of the film 12 Monkeys and its TV show adaptation. The main focus of these comparisons is the different formats and lengths of the two versions. The work focuses on time and time paradoxes.
