Practical Exploitation of the Sustainable Growth Method

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem "Možnosti využití metody povzbudivého růstu v praxi`` je zaměřena na možnosti a závěry, které nabízí využití metody povzbudivého růstu při analýze hospodaření společnosti. V teoretické části je popsána metoda povzbudivého růstu, která porovnává skutečný růst společnosti, založený na vývoji tržeb s růstem povzbudivým. Znamená to tedy, že podstatou metody povzbudivého růstu je sledování vývoje vlastních finančních zdrojů společnosti, které může využít ke svému rozvoji. Dále jsou popsána omezení, která mohou zkreslit dosažené výsledky. Jedná se především o nedostatky poměrových ukazatelů finanční analýzy. V praktické části je provedena analýza hospodaření vybrané společnosti pomocí metody povzbudivého růstu. Po vypracování analýzy jsem dospěl k závěru, že metoda povzbudivého růstu upozorní na problémy v hospodaření, a proto je využitelná v praxi. Je však důležité zařadit do analýzy hospodaření také další ukazatele a metody, které dokáží odhalit přesné příčiny nedostatečného hospodaření společnosti. Metoda povzbudivého růstu pohlíží na hospodaření jako na celek.V praxi je nejvhodnější využít tuto metodu ve fázi prognózování a plánování.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis titled "Practical Exploitation of the Sustainable Growth Method" focuses on the options and conclusions offered by the exploitation of the sustainable growth method, which compares the real growth of the company (based on the development of sales) with sustainable growth. This means that the very essence of the sustainable growth method is based on tracking the development of the company's own financial resources, being available for its further development. This thesis further describes the limitations, which could eventually distort the achieved results. This includes mainly the insufficiencies of the ratio-indicators of the financial analysis. The practical part provides a management analysis of the selected company - applying the sustainable growth method. After having elaborated this analysis, I finally came to the conclusion that the sustainable growth method will pinpoint management problems, what makes this method practically exploitable. An important aspect however, is to include into this management analysis also further indicators (drivers) and methods capable of revealing the exact causes of the company's management insufficiencies. The sustainable growth method approaches the management in its entirety. The most appropriate application of this method in practice is the forecasting and planning stage.
