Orthographic System of the Print Nuptiae: The Wedding of the Groom of the Most Desirable Lord Jesus Christ

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tiskem Nuptiae: neb Svatba ženicha nejžádostivějšího pána Ježíše Krista a jeho pravopisným systémem, na který je soustředěna naše hlavní pozornost. Pravopis tisku analyzujeme podle stanovených kritérií, provádíme komparaci s dobovým uzuálním pojetím pravopisu a následně i komparaci s dalším sourodým tiskem. Podali jsme také základní literárněhistorickou charakteristiku tisku, popis jeho obsahu, přehled pravopisů starších vývojových fází češtiny a edici tisku.

Abstract:

This master's thesis deals with the print Nuptiae: The Wedding of the Groom of the Most Desirable Lord Jesus Christ and its orthographic system, on which our main attention is focused. We analyze the orthographic system of the print, we compare it with the orthographic practice of that time, and then also with another print. We also included the basic and literary characteristics of the print, a summary of the print, an overview of the orthographic systems of the older stages of the Czech language, and the edition of the print.
