The Preterit and the Perfect in German: Similarities and Differences in their Use
Abstract:
The Bachelor’s Thesis deals with the preterit and the perfect in German language. In particular, it examines their interchangeability and the differences in their use to express the past, the present, the future and the atemporality. The thesis deals with the use of these tenses in both spoken and written language, especially in storytelling.
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá slovesnými časy préteritum a perfektum v německém jazyce: jejich zaměnitelností a rozdíly v použití pro vyjádření minulosti, přítomnosti, budoucnosti i atemporálnosti. Práce se věnuje užití těchto časů v mluveném i psaném jazyce, především ve vyprávění.
