Accounting and reporting of received grants at business entities and non-profit organisations (comparison)

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku zobrazení přijatých dotací v účetnictví dle české legislativy z pohledu podnikatelských subjektů a nevýdělečných organizací. Na začátku práce je vymezena základní definice pojmu dotace a jsou zde stručně vymezena kritéria, podle kterých lze dotace rozčlenit. Hlavní část této práce se věnuje srovnání rozdílů v postupu účtování a vykazování přijatých dotací u podnikatelů a nevýdělečných organizací se zaměřením na investiční a neinvestiční dotace. Práce také obsahuje kapitolu o Interpretacích Národní účetní rady, vztahující se k této problematice. Praktická část se věnuje porovnání účetního zachycení dotací u podnikatelů a neziskových organizací na komplexnějších příkladech, do kterých je rovněž aplikována dotační problematika řešená v Interpretacích Národní účetní rady.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of displaying received grants in accounting according to Czech legislation, from the perspective of business entities and non-profit organisations. The beginning of the thesis defines a basic concept of grants and briefly outlines criteria according to which grants can be classified. The main part of this thesis compares differences in method of the accounting and reporting of received grants in the accounting of business entities and non-profit organisations, with a focus on investment and non-investment grants. The thesis also includes a chapter of the National Accounting Board Interpretations regarding this issue. The practical part is focused on the comparison of accounting recording of subsidies for entrepreneurs and non-profit organisations on a complex examples, to which the subsidy issue solved in the National Accounting Board Interpretations is also applied.
