Verbal and non verbal communication of toddlers and preschool age children

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá osvojováním jazyka a jeho následným vývojem u batolat a předškoláků. Zahrnuje úroveň verbální, předverbální i neverbální včetně jednotlivých stádií výpovědí u dětí od 12. měsíce do 5 let a role rodičů, jejichž přístup k dítěti může jazykový vývoj jejich potomků ovlivnit. Dále se soustředí na poruchy řeči v několika úrovních. V praktické části přináší výsledky testování batolat v oblasti receptivní i produktivní řeči, sociální komunikace, poznávání, poslechu, mluvy; u předškolních dětí v oblasti neverbální – emocí a mimiky, aktivní i pasivní slovní zásoby, morfologie, verbální paměti, opakování vět, slovosledu ve větě, tvorby gramaticky správného tvaru substantiv a zvukové stránky jazyka.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with language acquisition and its subsequent development in toddlers and preschoolers. It covers the verbal, pre-verbal and non-verbal levels including the different stages of utterances in children from 12 months to 5 years and the role of parents whose approach to their child can influence the language development of their offspring. It also focuses on speech disorders at several levels. In the practical part, it presents the results of testing toddlers in the areas of receptive and productive speech, social communication, cognition, listening, speaking; for preschool children in the non-verbal area – emotions and facial expressions, active and passive vocabulary, morphology, verbal memory, sentence repetition, word order in sentences, formation of grammatically correct nouns and the sound side of language.
