Questions of music expression at graduation concert with the special attention to Antonín Dvořák vocal compositions

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je orientována na rozbor skladeb absolventského koncertu. Hlavním těžištěm práce je tvorba Antonína Dvořáka, přesněji podrobná analýza vybraných písní z cyklu Cigánské melodie. Cílem bakalářské práce je nastudování vybraných skladeb se zaměřením na problematiku interpretace, které budou dále porovnávány s vlastními dispozicemi pěvecko-technických dovedností a nároky kladené na její interpretaci.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis deals with composition analysis of a graduation concert. The main focus is on Antonin Dvorak’s works, specifically the detailed analysis of selected songs from the cycle of Gipsy Melodies. The objective of this thesis is performing selected songs while focusing on the interpretation issues, which are further compared with the dispositions proper of the vocal-technical skills and demands placed on their interpretation.
