Using the concept of basal stimulation in the care of individuals with multiple disabilities

Abstract:

Aktuální téma mé diplomové práce – „Využití konceptu bazální stimulace v péči o jedince s kombinovaným postižením“ – se dotýká hlavně dětí s těžkým kombinovaným postižením. V teoretické části se zmiňuji o historii a současném stavu konceptu bazální stimulace, neurofyziologické podstatě konceptu BS. Dále se zabývám uplatněním konceptu BS u osob s diagnózou dětská mozková obrna, mentální retardace a přidružená postižení jako jsou sluchové vady, zrakové vady, vady řeči či syndrom ADHD a jiné poruchy chování. V závěru této části se obsáhle věnuji představení jednotlivých prvků bazální stimulace. Praktická část začíná představením výzkumného místa - Základní školy a Praktické školy SVÍTÁNÍ, o.p.s. a metodologie šetření. Další kapitoly se zabývají kasuistikami dvou žáků s DMO, u kterých ve své praxi uplatňuji koncept BS. Práce je určena všem pedagogům, kteří chtějí svůj edukační proces obohatit o další zajímavý koncept v rozvoji žáků s kombinovaným postižením.

Abstract:

Topic of my dissertation – „Using the concept of basal stimulation in the care of individuals with multiple disabilities“ - mainly affects children with severe multiple disabilities. In the theoretical part, I focus on the history and current state concept of basal stimulation neurophysiological concept basically BS. Another part deals with the application of the concept of BS in people diagnosed with cerebral palsy, mental retardation and associated disabilities such as hearing loss, visual defects, speech defects or syndrome of ADHD and other behavioral disorders. At the end of this section is devoted to an extensive presentation of the various elements of basal stimulation. The practical part of the research begins with a performance space - Basic School and Practical School SVÍTÁNÍ, o.p.s. a survey methodology. Other chapters deal with casuistries two children with cerebral palsy, which in its practice of the concept of BS. Work is intended for all educators who want to enrich the educational process more interesting concept in the development of students with multiple disabilities.
