Práce se zabývá problematikou dětské opery a opery pro děti. Jsou zde popsána základními fakta, charakteristika a principy opery a také žánr dětské opery v dějinném vývoji. Práce také zkoumá psychologií dítěte a jednotlivá období jeho vývoje se zaměřením na hudbu a možnosti hudební výchovy v dnešní době. Analýzou opery „Ferda Mravenec“ se zabývá druhá polovina práce. The thesis deals with the topic of children’s opera and opera for children. Basic facts, characteristics and principles of opera, as well as the genre of children’s opera in its historical development, are described here.
