Abstract:
Tato práce porovnává dvě populární API paradigmata, REST a RPC společně s protokolem SOAP pro webové rozhraní na základě stanoveních srovnávacích kritérií, dle jednoduchosti implementace, rychlosti odezvy a formátů komunikačních zpráv. Práce obsahuje teoretické srovnání a technické měření rychlosti odezvy a praktickou ukázkovou aplikaci, která ukazuje rozdíly mezi API v kódu a designu.
Abstract:
This thesis compares two popular API paradigms, REST and RPC with three popular implementations, REST, SOAP and JSON-RPC by establishing comparison criteria: simplicity of implementation, response time and formats of communication messages.
