Mobile application for food delivery

Abstract:

Cílem práce je vytvořit mobilní aplikaci pro platformu Windows, která bude sloužit pro plánování a navigování po trase při rozvozu pokrmů. Aplikace bude napojena na stávající řešení webové aplikace a bude využívat její databázi. Aplikace bude umožňovat práci i v offline režimu. V teoretické části je provedena rešerše v oblasti mobilních aplikací zaměřených na zobrazení mapy a navigace na základě bodů zájmu. Dále jsou popsány základní charakteristiky použitých technologií a vyzdviženy jejich klady pro použití v mobilních zařízení. Dále jsou popsány základní rozšíření operačního systému Windows pro mobilní telefony na verzi 10.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to create a mobile application for platform Windows Phone, which allows planning itinerary of food delivery and creating the directions for navigating through destinations. The application will be connected to the web server, which provides a solution for the Traveling Salesman Problem and use its MySQL database. The application will be working in offline mode too. The theoretical part compares the existing application covering the same focus area of displaying routes and point of interest on map. Further research will describe basic technology used in mobile devices. Finally the Windows Phone 10 news are analyzed and presented.
