ROAD ACCIDENT FREQENCY OF MOTOR VEHICLES IN THE AREA OF THE KARVINÁ REGION

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je provedení průzkumu, zda zásadní novely Zákona č. 361/2000 Sb., o provozu na pozemních komunikacích, provedeny Zákonem č. 411/2005 Sb. a Zákonem č. 226/2006 Sb., ovlivnily chování řidičů motorových vozidel a pomohly snížit počty dopravních nehod se smrtelnými následky na území předně karvinského regionu. Teoretická část je zaměřena na současný stav, národní strategii bezpečnosti silničního provozu a na orgány státní správy provádějící dozor nad plněním zmiňovaného zákona. V praktické části je proveden screening pomocí dotazníku u otevřené skupiny obyvatel, zaměřený na samotné dodržování silničního zákona a na ověření znalostí současně platné normy. Následná samotná komparace získaných dat prověří stav se statistickými údaji o dopravních nehodách před přijetím výše uvedených novel Zákona č. 361/2000 Sb., se statistikami dopravních nehod po jejich přijetí.

Abstract:

The main aim of the baccalaureate thesis is to carry out the research whether the crucial amendments to the Act Nr. 361/2000, Coll., on road traffic, carried out by the Act Nr. 411/2005, Coll., and the Act Nr. 226/2000, Coll., have had an influence on motor vehicle drivers? behaviour and whether they have helped to decrease the number of road accidents with fatal consequences in the area of the Karviná region mainly. The theoretical part is focused on the current condition, national strategy of road safety and on governmental agencies executing supervision over observance of the above-mentioned act. In the practical part, a screening performed by means of the questionnaire with a public open group focused on the actual observance of the Act on Roads and on verification of knowledge of the currently valid standard. The subsequent comparison of the gained data will examine the condition with the statistical data on road accidents before the above-mentioned amendments to the Act Nr. 361/2000, Coll., were adopted, with statistics of road accidents after their adoption.
