Abstract:

Táto bakalárska práca odhaľuje moc korporácií, analyzuje jej povahu a uplatnenie v dvadsiatomprvom storočí. Hlavným cieľom práce je vymedzenie významu moci, ktorá je na jednej strane zverená do rúk autority vlády, no na druhej strane určitá časť tejto moci je prostredníctvom štátnej integrácie do medzinárodných ekonomických orga-nizácií presunutá z vlády na obchodné spoločnosti. Práca ilustruje príbeh vidieckej komunity, ktorá sa stala obeťou podnikateľského zámeru, a to do dnešných čias naj-väčšej investície na zelenej lúke v Českej republike. Relevantné dáta boli získavané s pomocou kombinovanej techniky kvalitatívnych metód, a to napríklad aj neštruktúr-ovaného interview. Výsledkom tejto práce je navrhnutie konceptu súčasného rozdelenia moci, ktorá v dnešnej dobe neprináleží len vláde, samosprávnym jednotkám a verejným činiteľom, ale výrazný dopad na nič- netušiacu spoločnosť majú tak isto obchodné spoločnosti skrze lobbing, priame ovplyvňovanie a obrovskú ekonomickú moc.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis brings corporate power to the light and analyses the nature and the role of the corporations in 21st century. The main goal of the thesis is to determine the significance of power that is on one hand being vested in the authority of government, while on the other hand some of its aspects are transferred through the state’s integration to the multilateral economic organizations to the corporate bodies. The thesis narrates the story of the local community fallen victim to corporate intentions to realize the largest “greenfield” investment in the Czech Republic in history. The relevant data have been collected using a combination of qualitative methods, for example unstructured interviews. The outcome of the thesis suggests a concept of contemporary distribution of power, which no longer remains exclusively in the hands of governments, municipalities and other public officials, but also corporate bodies which have a serious impact on unaware local populations through hard lobbying, direct influence and major potency of themselves.
