Social entrepreneurship as bearers of social innovation

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to introduce the reader with the basic concepts of social entrepreneurship and social innovation. It answers the question whether social enterprises are the bearers of social innovation and whether they represent better solutions than available alternatives or what form they achieve. The research data obtained from the questionnaire survey of the Czech and Slovak Republic are used to achieve the stated research objective. On the basis of the analysis of the obtained documents, the author reaches specific conclusions and recommendations. On the basis of which the author concludes that social enterprises are the bearers of social innovation.

Abstract:

Cieľom diplomovej práce je zoznámiť čitateľa so základnými pojmami sociálneho podnikania a sociálnych inovácií. Overiť tézu, či sú sociálne podniky nositeľmi sociálnych inovácií a či predstavujú lepšie riešenia oproti dostupným alternatívam, prípadne akou formou toho dosahujú. K dosiahnutiu stanoveného výskumného cieľa sú využité získané dáta z dotazníkového šetrenia Českej a Slovenskej republiky. Na základe analýzy zo získaných podkladov autorka dospela ku konkrétnym záverom a odporúčaniam podľa, ktorých autorka môže konštatovať, že sociálne podniky sú nositeľmi sociálných inovácií.
