Utilization of Modern Technologies in Rehabilitation of Patients with Multiple Sclerosis

Abstract:

Úvod: Tato bakalářská práce byla koncipována na základě kvalitativního výzkumného šetření a to přehledovou studií, která nám umožní analyzovat a komparovat jednotlivá zjištění týkajících se využívání moderních technologií v rehabilitaci osob s diagnózou roztroušená skleróza. Cíl práce: Cílem této práce bylo vytvoření souhrnu teoretických poznatků a vytvoření přehledové studie. Metodika: Teoretická část shrnuje základní poznatky o roztroušené skleróze a její rehabilitaci. Praktická část byla realizována jako přehledová studie porovnávající 14 kvalifikačních prací, které odpovídaly zadaným parametrům. Výsledky: Ve výsledcích proběhlo zhodnocení rehabilitace pomocí moderních technologií u osob s roztroušenou sklerózou. Projevilo se, že tato forma rehabilitace má pozitivní vliv na zlepšení jak psychického tak fyzického stavu pacientů. Závěr: Moderní technologie v rehabilitaci u roztroušené sklerózy jsou významnou podporou konvenční terapie. V každém případě ale moderní technologie nejsou klasické terapii nadřazené a nedokážou ji zcela nahradit.

Abstract:

Introduction: This bachelor thesis is based on the survey study conducted by qualitative research, which helps with the analysis and comparison of each finding related to the application of modern technologies in rehabilitation for patients diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. The goal of the work: The thesis aims to summarize theoretical findings and to draw up a survey study. Methodology: The theoretical part summarizes basic knowledge about multiple sclerosis and its rehabilitation. The practical part is based on a survey study comparing 14 theses which correspond with the given. Results: Evaluation of rehabilitation using modern technologies for MS patients is provided in the chapter results. This form of rehabilitation has been shown to have a positive effect on improving both the mental and physical condition of patients. Conclusion: Modern technologies in rehabilitation for MS patients are great support for conventional therapy. In any case, modern technologies are not superior to classical therapy and cannot completely replace it.
