Search for Persons and Items under the Authority of the Police of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce si klade za cíl stanovit ucelený přehled o pátrání po osobách a věcech a zanalyzovat a vyhodnotit efektivitu tohoto pátrání za dané období. Autor pro dosáhnutí tohoto cíle popíše problematiku pátrání po osobách a věcech v kompetenci Policie České republiky a zanalyzuje úspěšnost této činnosti v posledních pěti letech. Teoretická část obsahuje vysvětlení základních pojmů, popis pátracích metod a jejich zásady a také legislativy pátrání po osobách a věcech, jako například zákon č. 273/2008 Sb., o Policii ČR a související právní normy. Práce se zaměřuje na různé druhy pátrání, a to včetně hledání pohřešovaných osob, pátrání po pachatelích trestné činnosti a také pátrání po odcizeném majetku. Praktická část je zaměřena na sběr informací o úspěšnosti této činnosti, a sice v posledních pěti letech. Data, která autor získá budou následně vyhodnocena, a to formou analýzy, s cílem zjistit tendenci úspěšnosti pátrání.

Abstract:

The bachelor’s thesis aims to proivide a comperhensive overview of the search for persons and items and to analyze and evaluate the effectivness of these searches over a specific period. To achieve this objective, the author describes the issue of searching for persons and items within the competence of the Czech Republic and analyzes the success rate of these activities over the past five years. The theoretical part includes an explanation of basic concepts, a description of search methods and principles, as well as the legislation related to the search for perosns and items, such as Act No. 237/2008 Coll., on the Police of the Czech Republic, and related legal regulations. The thesis focuses on various types of searches, including searching for missing persons, searching for criminal offenders, and recovering stolen property. The practical part is dedicated to collecting informations on the succes rate of these activities over the past five years. The data obtained by the author will be evaluated trough analysis to identify trends in the effectivness of the search efforts.
