Abstract:

Bakalářská diplomová práce Obrazy duše, Tvorba psychotiků v Čechách ve 20. století má za cíl zmapovat a blíže popsat výtvarnou tvorbu osob s psychotickým onemocněním v tuzemsku. V první části představuje fenomén art brut, jakožto zastřešující termín pro oblast umělecké tvorby, pod kterou jsou díla psychotiků řazena. Od základních informací a sociologicko-psychologického členění samotného art brut, přechází k bližšímu rozboru výtvarné tvorby duševně nemocných. Nejprve se zaměřuje na jednotlivé charakteristické prvky vypozorované v tvorbě pacientů a posléze tyto projevy představuje v širším společensko-politickém kontextu. Stěžejní kapitola zabývající se situací ohledně tvorby psychotiků v českém prostředí, se zaměřuje na vývojové tendence zájmu a publikační činnost jak uměleckých teoretiků, tak lékařů. Následně pak uvádí institucionální péči, zastoupení ve sbírkách a veřejnou prezentaci těchto děl. Na základě získaných teoretických informací přechází práce v poslední části do konkrétní roviny. Je zde představen život a tvorba tří českých psychotiků a pěti aktuálně hospitalizovaných pacientů Psychiatrické léčebny v Kroměříži.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis Images of Soul with a subtitle Art work of psychotics in the Czech Republic in the 20th Century aims to map and describe creative work of people with psychotic disorders in our country. In the first part of the thesis, the phenomenon of art brut is introduced, representing the main artistic movement under which the art works of psychotics are usually classified. The Thesis passes from the basic information and socio-psychological analysis of art brut itself, through detailed study of visual art created by mentally ill. Firstly, the individual characteristics observed in the works of the patients are investigated and then these phenomena are shown in a broker socio-political context. The key chapter, dealing with the situation regarding the work of psychotics in Czech environment, focuses on the trends of interest and publication activities of art theorists as well as doctors. Subsequently, institutional care, representation of the collections and public presentation of these works are described. Based on the information presented in the theoretical part the last part of the thesis moves into more specific level. The life and work of three Czech psychotics and five currently hospitalized psychiatric patients from Kroměříž hospital is presented.
