Dějiny pelhřimovské knihovny

History of Pilgrams Library
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá dějinami pelhřimovské knihovny, od jejího založení v roce 1902 až do současnosti. Zaměřuje se na problémy, které knihovnu v průběhu let sužovaly, především neustálém nedostatku místa pro knižní fond. Zabývá se také dějinami pelhřimovského spolku „Čtenářská beseda“, ze kterého nynější knihovna vznikla. V neposlední řadě pak obecným knihovnictvím v 19. a 20. století.
Abstract:
This work deals with history of the local Pilgrams library since its foundation in 1902 until now. The work intens on problems which annoyed the library during years, above all continuous shortage of space for books. It also deals with history of the local club „Readers group“, which originated the library. Finally I worte about general library science in the nineteenth and twentieth century.
