Education of Patients Before and After Orthotopic Heart Transplantation

Anotácia:

Diplomová práce se zabývá edukací pacientů před a po ortotopické transplantaci srdce. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny informace o anatomii, fyziologii, důležitosti edukace pacientů, dárcovství, transplantacích a vyšetřeních, na které se práce také soustředí, ale pouze okrajově. Empirická část práce byla provedena prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se zdravotními sestrami, které mají dostatečné zkušenosti s péčí o tyto pacienty. Odpovědi dotazovaných posloužily k dosažení dvou hlavních cílů, které se týkaly důležitých oblastí edukace pacientů před a po ortotopické transplantaci srdce a jejím vlivem. Vedlejší cíl se soustředil na vyšetřovací metody.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on education of patients before and after the orthotopic heart transplantation. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part provides information about anatomy, physiology, importance of patient education, organ donation, transplantation and examinations, which the thesis also focuses on, but only marginally. The empirical part of the diploma thesis was carried out through semi-structured interviews with nurses who have sufficient experience in the care of these patients. The answers of the respondents served to achieve two main goals concerning important areas of patient education before and after orthotopic heart transplantation and its influence. The secondary goal was focused on examination methods.
