Burnout syndrome and ist prevention among the staff taking care of people with health disabilities in Jesenik

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou syndromu vyhoření a jeho prevencí u osob, které pracují s lidmi se zdravotním postižením na Jesenicku. V první části popisuji historii vzniku pojmu syndrom vyhoření, jeho základní charakteristiku, příčiny vzniku, příznaky, fáze a diagnostiku syndromu vyhoření. Ve druhé části jsem se zaměřila na dostatečnou prevenci a to jak na úrovni jednotlivce, tak i organizace, kde jsem se zaměřila především na supervizi. Ve třetí popisuji osobnost a práci pracovníka v sociálních službách, který pečuje o zdravotně postižené osoby. Uvádím jeho obecné předpoklady, kompetence, potřebné vědomosti a dovednosti pro výkon této profese. V praktické části uvádím metody a postupy kvantitativního výzkumu, který byl realizován prostřednictvím anonymního dotazníkového šetření a mnou zpracovaných údajů. Předkládá výsledná data a následná preventivní opatření.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the study of the burnout syndrome and its prevention among workers who care for people with health disabilities in the Jesenik region. The first part of the thesis describes the historical development of the term burnout syndrome, its basic characterization, causes for the development, symptoms, phases and diagnosis of the burnout syndrome. The second part of the thesis is concerned with the adequate prevention for individuals and organisations, In the third part I describe the personality characteristics and work of the social workers who care for people with the health desabilities. General requirements, competences, necessary knowledge and skills for the profession are presented. In a fieldwork part I present methods of a quantitative research, which is performed through an anonymous questionnaire and subsequent data analysis. This part contains results and suggested precautions.
