Abstract:
Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou překladů titulků vybraných seriálů s queer tematikou z angličtiny do češtiny a italštiny. Překlady do cílových jazyků jsou porovnány a jsou podrobeny rozboru, který hodnotí funkčnost translátů, užití vhodné terminologie z oblasti queer, reprezentaci LGBTQ+ komunity a schopnost uchovat senzitivní, politicky korektní a inkluzivní jazyk. This thesis deals with the analysis of the translations of the subtitles of selected se-ries with queer themes from English into Czech and Italian.
