Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce s názvem ?Etika chovu zvířat? je podat ucelený obraz skutečností týkajících se problematiky týrání zvířat. V prvních kapitolách se tato práce orientuje především na vztah člověka a zvířete z historického hlediska. Je zde podán souhrn informací, který poukazuje na netečnost spojitosti člověka a zvířete. V dalších kapitolách se snažíme shrnout primární charakteristiku jednotlivých druhů týrání, které se nejčastěji vyskytují v kontinuitě s člověkem, jelikož lidské potřeby byli a jsou hlavním důvodem strádání živočichů. Nejdůležitější částí práce je nabídnutí poznatků, které mají vést ke snížení trýznění zvířat a rovněž uvědomění si našich činů, které ve vztahu k tomuto problému nemají konce.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis, the ?Ethics of Animal Husbandry?, has the objective of providing a comprehensive overview of the issues of animal cruelty within livestock breeding. The early chapters focus primarily on the historical relationship between humans and animals. They highlight the lack of progress, with respect to the relationship between humans and animals, over time. In the following chapters, an effort is made to summarize the characteristics of the various types of abuse that occur, specifically with regards to human interactions with animals - this focus is due to the proposal that human requirements have been and continue to be a major cause of suffering for animals. In conclusion, a number of solutions are suggested, with the aims of increasing awareness of, and reducing, the ongoing mistreatment of animals.
