Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with the prose of Božena Benešová, whose theme is the First World War. The intention is to observe, analyse and interpret typical motives in the context of Czech prose of the 1920s. The introductory chapters briefly outline of the period of the Great War, its impact on society and its effects on literary production.
