This diploma thesis deals with translation of phraseology demonstrated on a German novel „Du stirbst nicht“ written by Kathrin Schmidt. In the theoretical part of the thesis are described basic terms, concepts of classification by Fleischer and Burger, contrastive phraseology issues and equivalence in phraseology. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá překladáním frazeologismů na příkladu německého románu od Kathrin Schmidt „Du stirbst nicht“. V teoretické části jsou definovány základní pojmy, popsána klasifikace frazeologismů podle Fleischera a Burgera, problematika kontrastivní frazeologie a ekvivalence.
