Managerial Skills and their Usage in the Practices of a Manager

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je identifikace manažerských dovedností a jejich využívání v praxi manažera. Hlavním cílem práce je průzkum mezi manažery a jeho vyhodnocením zjistit, jaké manažerské dovednosti považují pro svoji práci za klíčové a jaké nástroje, metody používají u vybrané dovednosti nejčastěji. Sekundárním cílem je zjistit a porovnat případné rozdíly v používání dovedností mezi muži a ženami, mezi mladšími a staršími manažery. V návrhové části jsou navržena doporučení pro manažery, která by mohla přispět k jednotnější spolupráci v rámci pracovních skupin nebo týmů a rozvoji dovedností, které manažer využívá při práci s lidmi.

Abstract:

Topic of the thesis is identification of managerial skills and their usage in the practice of a manager. The main target of this thesis is a survey among managers and to identify the key managerial skills which managers use for their work the most and which techniques, methods are most frequently used for particular chosen skill. The second target is to find out preferences between women and men, younger and older managers. Proposal part includes recommendations and suggestions for improving the individual management skills and their usage in the practice.
